The first signs of new life in the grounds
As the winter grinds on how nice it is to see the first shoots and the first colour of the New Year. Just as one example, the Crocuses are shooting up in the chapel garden.
It may be too early yet to call this Spring but from almost by the day now we will start to see new life being generated in the natural world and slowly but surely the day-light-hours get longer. Hopefully this can be a metaphor for a sense of optimism in our own lives.
