Harbour View and Tapper Funeral Service sponsor a community lunch for widows and widowers
We are pleased to announce details of the next lunch for widows and widowers, which this time will be held in Broadstone and continues the theme of informal get-togethers, with local people, for mutual support, which has proved so popular when we have arranged the similar elsewhere.
Jan Wharmby, manager of the Broadstone Office of Tapper Funeral Service, will host a buffet lunch at Broadstone Royal British Legion, Tudor Road, Broadstone on Wednesday 30th November, from 12.45pm.
There is NO charge for attending. Those wishing to attend will typically be people who have lost their spouse/partner within the previous two years. While it is helpful to know in advance who is attending it may be easier for those wishing to attend to simply wake up on the morning and see how they feel. (We appreciate it can feel very difficult to attend a lunch in this way.)
Our experience of similar lunches is that many new friendships are made between people who have much in common. We hope to see you on the 30th.
