Christmas Tree Festival at St Aldhelm's Church, Branksome
St Aldhelm's is hosting its 9th festival this year, starting on Saturday 10th December and continuing to Christmas Eve. The church is open from 10am to 8pm.
One of the features of the Christmas Tree Festival at St Aldhelms is an opportunity to write a memorial card for someone you have lost and to place it within the branches of the trees. These cards of remembrance will eventually be collected up and used in a service in the church on Ash Wednesday. Tapper Funeral Service, through Outlook Bereavement Support, has sponsored two of the trees at the festival and provided plenty of cards for people to write upon.
