Bournemouth Airshow
The Bournemouth Air show has become a major annual attraction and considerable source of income for our local economy.
However, a number of roads are closed during the air show, which coupled with the additional traffic can cause a number of problems.
People attending funerals in the Poole/Bournemouth/Christchurch area should be aware of the potential for considerable delays to journey times, even when the journey does not extend into Bournemouth town centre. Our experience in previous years suggests the knock-on effect to the outlying road network is considerable and unpredictable.
The Air show takes place from Thursday 18th to Sunday 21st August 2011.
